Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 15 oz carton ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In large saucepan, combine ground beef, sausage, onion. Cook until meat is browned and crumbly; drain. Add spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, garlic, salt and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
- In medium size bowl, stir together ricotta, Parmesan and parsley.
- Lightly spray pan with cooking spray. Spread a bit of sauce into the bottom of the pan. Top with layer of noodles, sauce, cheese mixture, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Repeat.
- Preheat oven to 350°. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking an additional 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
