
smokehouse citrus spiced pork

Ingredients
- 3 lb pork loin
- 1 Tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1½ tsps salt
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 1.06 oz pkg Smoky Applewood or Mesquite Grill Mate seasoning
- 1 large orange
- 1 large yellow onion
- cooked rice (optional)
Instructions
- Prick pork loin all over with tip of knife. Rub with butter or olive oil.
- In small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, cloves, and grill mate packet. Pour spice mixture over pork and rub well on all sides.
- Slice orange and onion into ¼-inch slices.
- Place onion slices on bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker. Set pork on top of onion slices and lay orange slices over top.
- Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.
- Serve over cooked rice, if desired.
